Parenting: The Challenges of Raising Children

Parenting is one job you can get without any experience, and being a parent for the first time isn't like changing jobs from one restaurant to another. It can be a challenge, particularly when raising teenagers. Therefore, what do you think are the keys of raising children, particularly older ones who are going through different periods of their lives.   3. I think our children deserve not only our love but also our time. During their fundamental years (3-7 yrs old) we as parents should make sure that we did our best to teach them basic principles of love, respect, honesty, forgiveness, personal responsibility etc.. Living the teachings of our religion can help us become a better example to them. Spending quality time by doing things together can also strengthen the bond of each family members. There's no perfect parenting method but surely the are hundreds of ways we can show them that they are still our priorities.
