first i dont celebrate ma birthday, and i think that most moroccans dont. i dont celebrate ma birthday because of cultural and religeous stuff. to be honest, celebrating birthdays is a nice and important thing to keep in mind. so am sorry not to give further ideas concerning how we celebrate birthdays in morocco. thanks
Your question is an actual topic for me, because my birthday was yesterday. In Hungary we eat cake, give some little gifts to the celebrated and play something like Activity when we celebrate birthday. Yesterday I made boiled wine. It contained red and white wine, fruit juice or fruit tea, sugar, cinnamon, clove, lemon-peel and lemon. This drink is very good for celebrating Christmas, too.

Our family've celebrated our birthdays each other since I was a kid. I give a present and we have a cake with candles and sing "Happy birthday". My kid's birthday was last month and I gave a party at the park. I prepared lunch and a cake and he invited many friends and they played at the playground and enjoyed some games. It was hard to light the candles outside, but no matter how they were excited and screamed, it was absolutely fine outside. His friends brought presents for him and we gave small presents to them, too. We had a blast!

In my country most people always celebrate their birthday with a small party and big cake which will been put on each other face after blasting. They invite only their close friends who come with their own present. They always have fun by KaraOK and dance together. Yes, there is a fun party.But for my birthday I don't have any party anymore. But I often go to the temple to make a merit, that's all.

Celebating birthday is very specicial in my country, Vietnam, The young often celebrate their birthday by drinking a lot of something as beer or wine. They drink until they can not, then they start singging and dancing. They looked very fun at that moment but perhaps it was the time they felt very happy.
In my opinion, the birthday celebration is the special day through it you could think your self that you are so important and everyone love you. You should improve your self to live better not only for you but also for your family and your friends who love you, I think. I'm from Vietnam, but I don't think almost Vietnamese just drink a lots in their birthday and it wasn't the only time they felt very happy, they also do something else, for example have a traditional meal with their families and stuff like that instead of getting drunk.

I celebrated my 25th birthday in my mother´s house, my boyfriend gave me a pinata.In Venezuela, we usually have a pinata, which is a large box with different shapes, in my case it was Garfield, and this box has inside candies, toys and confetti,and the people in the party take turns to break the pinata up.When it is finally broken, everyone pick up the toys and candies in a bag to take away. After, we sang the happy birthday and I also made my wish!

Birthdays are indeed special days in our culture. Family and friends usually get together to celebrate them. We usually throw a surprise party or go somewhere to celebrate someone's birthday such as a resturant or a dance club.When it's celebrated at home, we generally buy a cake and some finger food. Others would prefer to have a barbecue, and it usualy lasts a whole day.
My birthday is on May 31. On this special day, I usually go out with my friends to coffee shops or to sing karaok. I receive many lovely gifts from them and my relatives. Although we're Vietnamese, we're fond of singing the song named "Happy birthday to you". We often do this before blowing candles and in the end of the party.
I often celebrate with my friends. We often go out to eat and then we go to karaoke to sing together and take photographs.

In Taiwan, people in my parents age are used to celebrate their lunar birthday because most people relied on lunar calendar 50 years ago. Because the life was difficult and poor, my parents were satisfied with noodles and an egg on birthday. Nowadays, people emphasize thier birthday more and more and they usually celebrate solar birthday instead of the lunar one. For instance, my family folks usually get together to have a birthday cake and sing birthday song to the star.We don't have the custom of giving presents or playing games in my family. I think that the chance to see every healthy family member is the best gift in the world to me.

Here in Brazil, we have a lot of different forms to celebrate our birthdays. My favourite birthday I went with my girlfriend to a beautiful place of Rio de Janeiro called "Jardim Botânico". It's a great natural park where a lot of species of plants and vegetal are preserved.

It is cool. There a lot of presedents. We say thaks god for everything everytime.
Here in Mexico we make really big birthday parties usually everything starts in the morning, your family or friends sing "las mañanitas" to you(it's a traditional birthday song), and once the song is over they hug you and you receive your first presents, later they make something for dinner the most traditional dish prepared is "pozole"(a broth made of corn and chicken or pork meat with some chili) or mole(it's a sauce of different spice some chocolate and you put on chicken with some rice)then after eating they bring a big cake with candles they sing again "las mañanitas" and then they cheer you to bite the cake but when you're about to do it they push you and you get your face full of cake and cream (muahahaha) later we drink tequila or beer and we sing and dance all night long
My favorite birthday was last year because there were many new freinds who met in university and came to celebrate my birthday. I think sharing hapiness with many friends is the coolest thing in the world. We had delicious cake and dinner. And we went to a singing room. I can remember that I was so exhausted until next day.

when i turned 5 years my family made a special party with clowns, A lot candy and ice creams and the most special was "LA PIÑATA" 'cause was the first time in my parties that i had it. i remember the PIÑATA had the form of the "red Power ranger". this was a great party.

The funny part, is that it´s supposed to be a surprise, it happens every year, and the person acts like if he doesn't know anything but he really does. Wine, coke and cake is always there.
In my dad´s family it´s a rule having a cake and a special luch for birthdays,get together and share at least the food. Anyway birthdays are not a really big deal in my mom´s family, maybe for those that live in the same house but for the rest is just a call if ur luky and they remember.

Hi, in Colombia birthdays are very important in my family, when i was a child my parents threw a party for my brother and me, because both of us celebrated our birthdays almost the same day, and we enjoyed together with my family and our friends. Well in my family sometimes we celebrate sometimes we don't. It depends if we have money. If we have we simply cook pancit or sopas for everyone we eat together and that's it. We don't have cakes ice cream or any special dish.
On birthday, we held a party. The parson doesn't held it for oneself, it's passive. It's usually small I think, only by friends or family. We make cakes and sing a birthdaysong for him or her. And we give presents him or her. It's special!

My last birthday was very simple alone there were in my house my mom, my dad, my sister and my boyfriend.
My boyfriend I give myself a cake and my mom did me of eating pozole and a salad of apple and it was everything what we ate the day of my birthday.

For my birthday, we always had a special dinner. I got to choose what would be eaten. Perhaps we ate out for lunch and then I usually picked to have lasagna for dinner. We would sit at our formal dining room table and have a nice sit down meal.
Throughout the day I could open my presents. My mom would set them out a day or so in advance for me to drool over. I would get one or two in the morning (it is usually as school day), one or two when I get home and perhaps one after dinner. This really allowed me to enjoy each present and the fun could last throughout the day. Often, I got things like clothes, games, books, and art items. The presents were not really expensive but certainly what I wanted (except for the underwear!)
My family was not a big fan of cake, so we usually had some interesting non-cake dessert to serve. I remember one year I made a 9 layer torte. It was like eating a giant stack of chocolate and cream pancakes! Yummy!

we all enjoyed a lot,we were capturing snaps,eating diffrent foods and many more..
i cant forget the reward of 200rps which was given to me by my ant on every of my birthday,at tht time 200 was a very large amount for me :)

It was a unique birthday for me 2 years back,since it was eid the same day and we all were ready for slaughtering the cow.My father came to me and asked me to go on and perform this activity,so instead of traditional cake cutting i slaughtered that cow.That was really a good experience for me.

I don’t usually celerbrate my birthday, but my students celerbate my birthday for me every year. They always give me a big superise. For example, it happened in my birthday last year. When I entered into their classroom, all of them crowded at the coner of the classroom and kept silence. As soon as I tried to understand what they did, they suddenly sung Happy Birtday and showed me a birthday cake. They made me very touched. Even now, I don’t how they know my birthday.

as for my family we have no any specific or unussual traditional activity or meals. But every year we celebrate this kind of events in diferant ways - we go out (cafe, restaurants), go to barbecu and have fun in nature, make holiday at home. as for me, I prefer good company - and its themost important for me, with good friends we can joke, smile, laugh at each other and have really good time. of course food is important too, ussually we make chicken with potatoes, but sometimes we try something another, cacke with candles is ussual things on our table too!Its so exciting - make a wish and blow out the candles!=)

I seldom celebrate my birthday, even forget my birthday. Because I am a office lady and a mother of 2 kids, especially one is 9.I am busy all the time.
The recent birthday I celebrated with my kids and my husband one year ago. The day my elder son bought a pretty high-price cake,then we sing a song, I make a wish,cut the cake and enjoy it.it should be a touched day. actually,
I was not happy because my elder son made some trouble at that time.
Now I hope amd believe every stuff bother me will go by the wind.
