If you were visiting a new continent in the world (e.g., Africa, South American, Australia, etc.), would you rather travel from city to city by plane or by ground transportation like by car? Why? Also, what are the advantages and disadvantages of for of transportation? Please share your personal experiences if you have traveled before?Randall
I think that is very interesting to travel by car because you can know many places in a row, that you probably wouldn't know if you were traveling by airplane. Although it take more time, patience and energy. Taking a trip by airplane is faster, more secure, but you will just know the city that you are going to.

i think it is best to travel by airplane than car.we can go in few minutes.where we wanna to go. mostly everyone want to travel by airplane. whn people are traveling by car they often want to sleep. they dont think to see natural places. they like to take rest.they dont like to see each other.but its up to you wat u like for treveling by car or by airplane.
ReplyDeletetravelling by car is adventurous but risky. By plane has its own excitements; the video screen seats, the food. But by car you can enjoy the beautiful sceneries passing by and the weatehr i.e. if it is good. I prefer by both plane and car.

ReplyDeleteWhen we think about across the country,fly will be more secure way of journey.I mean it not only safe but also problem free like.. free from tiredness, free from theft, no need for supporters in long journey,And also when the journey extends many kms we feel bored in driving too...

ReplyDeleteIf I were visiting a new continent, I think that how I would travel would depend on the area I am in. If it's majestic, I think I would travel by car should the trip be long. In that case, I would stop at interesting sites to take the time to visit. It might also be a good experience to fly over the area by plane to have an aerial view of it; but only once you've explored it on foot.

ReplyDeleteI think I would like the most traveling by car, ir order to visitting many wonderful places which are out of turistic route and therefore they would be spared in a common turistic trip. Besides, although you might end up beaten of so much time driving, the fact is that you will experience the journey in a more free way, without gides or similars. You may need to prepare your planning much more, though.
ReplyDeleteIf i were the tourist guide of my city I would start saying my name with a big smile, so I'm very outgoing. After I'd say the itinerary, it would be very simple because i live in a small city and almost all is forest and some churches. The best way of visiting it, it's on bus or going for a stroll. You can see many differents types of birds ans others wild animals. You can also breathe fresh air and feel better.

ReplyDeleteIf I had the opportunity of visiting a new continent, My way of traveling city to city it's depend on the continent, the state of its roads or its airlines and of course the distance between each city the use of a transport or another has its advantages and disadvantages. However if I had to choose, I would use the car because it allows you to stop whenever you want and to change your itinerary in case of any incidence
ReplyDeletein my opinion, the great difference between traveling by car or by plane, its the time you have to spend visiting the whole continent, if you only have one or two weeks, the recommended travel form, its flying around the continent, making stops in the most interesting destinations, there you will have a general knowledge about this country, but if you can spend more time than two weeks of holidays, then traveling by car its the most interesting option, maybe you don't have enough time to visit every city or monument along the road, but probably you will enjoy the inner essence of the town and the people around you.

ReplyDeleteIn my home city ,Durres ALBANIA there are many spots to vist.First,I would take my guests at the Ancient Amphitheater.It was built in the 2nd century in the reign of Trojan and it's one of the largest amphitheatres in the Balkan peninsula with a capasity of 20.000 people.Next I would guide my guests to Venetian Tour which it's sorrounded walls were built in the reign of Empire Anastas in 491-518.My tour guide for them would be another destination,the Archaelogical Museum.The Museum is located near the beach and north of the museum are the 16-century Byzantinewalls,constructed after the Visigoth invasion of 481.It is the largest Museum in Albania and it has 3204 objects which belong to the antiquity and middle ages.In my opinion ,the best way to enjoy these and the other views with my guests would be by foot and bus.
ReplyDeleteIf you prefer to have a quickly arrive to your destination, do not think two times and go by airplane.So, if you really like to appreciate natural views and enjoy a trip with adventure, you have to go by car.
ReplyDeleteI can choose both, the only thing that I like to analyze is if I had time or no.If I have time, I will probably go by car because I like this kind of adventure.
I would create a tour too the Bob Marley museum on Hope Road , Kingston Jamaica. This would be a bus tour that would commence at a central location in Kingston called Half Way Tree. From there we would visit the site and explore the now famous musical giant who have received many famous accolades in the international music industry. The tour would include where he resided while writing some of his famous songs.

you can visit many underground cities which are amazing. Also, you can take a hot airballoon ride. You have to keep one week in this trip.In addition, you should get same warm cloths because this place is a little cold at night.

ReplyDeletei would take them to get bikes and tour all around the city show them our traditional food and streets vendors and i will take them to the library following by the lake that i have in my city and smoke some fish and then i will show them our great symbols pharaohs that i have in my city as well as a old traditional churches
If i imagined myself as tour guide and hosting a group of students from another country, i think i would prefer take them and get bikes and tour all around the city , show them an old traditional restaurants and eat there following by the vendors who makes an old traditional deserts and then i will take them to qarun lake which is one of the biggest lakes in Egypt ans smoke some fish over there and bring them back to city to visit the library and old Coptic churches and symbols of pharaohs that located at the city temple and when the night come i will take them by car to wadi el hitan to watch the stars and the galaxies.

ReplyDeleteIf I were the tourist guide of my city I would probably start explaining the itinerary, which starts with the magnificent ancient castle and its promenade. As I’m living in a historic town, we could also visit the Modern art Museum, which is situated nearby the fair. The best way for visiting it it’s by bus. In addition, there are lots of antiques shops in narrow streets where tourists can buy the most popular souvenirs.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of beautiful and historical places to visit in my city Tirana. My city provides several sightseeing tours for tourists. So, If I were the tour guide of some exchange students in Tirana, I would rent a bus for more convenience. Because the distance between the places might be too long to walk. Firstly, I would take them to the Skanderberg Square. It is the main plaza in the center of Tirana. Many buildings such as the Tirana International Hotel, the Palace of Culture, the National Library, the Ethem Bey Mosque and more are located at the square. I would then like them to see the mountain and national park called Dajti on the edge of Tirana. It is great for those who would like to go hiking and the place itself is incredibly beautiful which means nice photos. Another place that I think they would love to see is the museum named The Pyramid of Tirana. There is a square in front of this pyramid which attracts many tourists’ attention and you can walk on its walls because of its pyramidical shape which is different and fun.

ReplyDeleteIf I were the tour guide of same exchange student in Vlora , I would recommend to vizit the city with bicycles because the places are near to each other .
At the beginning I would like to take them to Independent House in the main plaza of city later with bicycle will go along the roads of city that are one with the coast , it is a wonderful view and feels a sea freshness .Another historical place to see is the Kanina Castel in the top of the maintain and from there you can see all the city , the most wonderful sunset and who is passionate in skydiving can do it from here . Another place that I will recommend they should definitely have to go are the beaches of the city , with the crystalline water , stones is the amazement of natyre , ther also you can try the best seafood in the city . You have to try to believe it .

In my personal opinion both are fantastic because they depend the kind of trip do you take and how long time do you have to go. I had taken the experience to flight in a trip and then got a car rental. It's easier to drive with more energy across all the town or city do you like to know. Also, you have more time to enjoy wonderful landscapes and scenic that you will see by car.
