School Truancy: How to get students to attend school

From time to time, children and teenagers don't want to go to school, but certain laws might require parents to send their children to school. In the US, such laws exist, and parents can be held responsible if they don't do this, or they need to provide equivalent instruction at home. So, what can parents do when their children don't want to go? Do parents let children stay home, call the police to get help in taking their children to school, or find another means of motivating children to go to school?

Share your ideas on the topic, including what laws have been passed on the requirements for children attending school in your country.

  1. In my opinion, parents should encourage their children to go to shcool. Because shcool is a better place to learn things in all aspects than at home. For example, children won't have classmates at home, so how can they learn the decent interaction with others?

According to the laws of my country, parents ought to send their children to school when they reach the age 6 to 15.
The parents can be held responsible if they don't do this just like in the US.

  2. finding means to encourage children to go school is really a tough thing to do.
some children would rather stay home and play, especially if their playmates are not into school yet.
at a young age, they always want complementary playmates.
they will not go to school unless thay would find excitement in the school.
school aged children, are sometimes impatient- when boredom arises they would not go to school anymore.
tha's why in some schools, teachers allow every student to play, have a snack break, and mingle with their classmates so they would not get overwhelmed with so many new things to learned.

  3. Adding various curricula can bring more students into schools. I do not know about the US, but in my country, we have the same problem because lesson materials are too hard and serious. If Education Ministry changes these though materials, more students come to school eagerly.
The other problem is the lesson contents are not practical. During the course of school, students should be prepared for their future life. And these curricula do not help them.

  4. In my country, some parents try not to go them to school by force if their children are 15-18years old.
Even if they don't want to go and quit the school after that, they can take a correspondense course in the same level.
Lately, school truency students are getting increase,so I also think it's important how to spend in the familly.

  5. The rank of schools could offer studnets who learn from different levels and compete with their peer groups. At the mmeatime, the school also own a variety of instructors, teachers, and professors wheather they can guild students out of mystery of disciplines or not. People think about how to grasp students' attention then attract them coming back to school. Think about the quality of teachers, they must play an important role at school.A famous example in Asia, a mother as a professor in a big city, she decided against a professor in the city. Then her family and she moved to the countryside. She refused to sent her son to private shchool. Being her son's teacher by herslfe. She knew the rules at school, but she also knew sometime that a good teacher was hard to find. In other words, to meet a great teacher must be by chance. She decided against the laws exist.Stay at home and self-study. After several years self-study, professor's son not only enjoyed the natural beauty in rural, but also did an excellent job on his school works. Finally, he got a great score on TOFEL test without extra school supports.I would say that the mother gave her son the Passion, motivation and creation to pursue the life of himself. It is crucial that who play an important role for the studentds to cherish their lives.

  6. I think if children don't want to go to school, parents should find out where is the problem. Why children don't want to go to school?? Is that because they don't have any friend in school? Or is that because they fight with their friends? Take care of your children and let them have a good childhood.
