Many homes have one or more television sets in them, and some people spend a great deal of time watching them. However, what are the benefits (advantages) and disadvantages of watching TV? First of all, TV is one of the greatest inventions in the world. With TV people in Different counties know each other much better than before. People almost know immediately the break news around the world. Secondly, TV also is the most important and convenient entertainment for most people that's why they spend a great deal of time watching them. Furthermore, TV is a very good school in which people can get good education from there. For example, TV has been playing a very important role for my English learning. I have made a big progress in my listening and vocabulary after I stick to watching TV for years once I immigrate to Canada from China. Comparing with many other immigrants from China who are still struggling to find the right way to improve their English, I think I am very luck as I have known how to use TV to help me.

I agree that TV is very useful, but I think the internet is still the most wonderful thing that we have.
ReplyDeleteI guess watching TV is the fastest way of keeping up with current events. Of course, there are very bad programs on TV nowadays, but I think it's up to us to decide on what we're going to watch. I also believe that parents should teach their children how to choose a program and, consequently its content.

Hi! to everyone.In my opinion TV is the best and worst thing.Best because the programs in TV(travel&living) gives us opportunity to watch different countries which we may not visit.Worst because children are looking dirty channels(f TV) which spoil their concentration.Also parents should strictly advise them only to see useful things otherwise TV should be closed.Bye..........
