  1. Iranian people have simple and light foods for breakfast including Feta cheese or speciall Iranian cheese with bread and a cup of tea. Some people prefer to have vegetables like fresh mint, basil and taragon on top of the cheese. This kind of cheese sandwich is great with sweeted tea.
Others specially youth have scrambled or boiled egg with milk, honey and butter or jam and butter.
In some area of Iran, fruits and nuts including greipfruit, orange, watermelon, walnut and almond are part of a daily breakfast. Different area has also different bread but most famous breads which is really, really delicious and good for health are called Barbari, Sangak, Lavash.
In southern part of Iran, dates, goat milk, goat or yak cream are the favorite kinds of foods that people have for the mornings.

  2. I don't think there is any born learner. I know some people who lived in US for many years and don't speak proper English because of lack of studying. Also I know some people who speak very good English who never left their home country. Language skills are different from others like a musical talent who are born with. Some singer can sing beautifully since they were so young and others can't sing even though you go to musical training school for years.
The beauty of learning foreign languages is eveybody can learn if you work harder.

  4. As all of you know well, Kimchi is very popular in Korea.
There are 300 different species of Kimchi and Kimchi is all around in korea.
But it is a little bit spicy at foreign friend, cuz it is made of powdered red pepper.
This is also need the time and the taste as all of the food in the world.
So Kimchi sometimes used stuff at fried rice or pot stew for young children or foreign people get used to tasting it.

Therefore, I also serve my foreign friends fusion food of Kimchi. and another less stimulative food like Bulgogi, Jabchae or Sickhye. Search yourself these Korean foods using by Internet ^^.

  5. Chinese people always pay much attention on their meals, including breakfast. Soup, steamed bun, steamed stuffed bun and pickle are the popular recipe for breakfast. People sometimes eat boiled egg and soy bean milk along with the above recipe. But such kind of food are not so easy to be prepared, so people usually make or buy the steam stuffed bun or steamed bun one day before and store them in the fridge and just to heat them when they need to eat. Soup is also prepared previously. If one has enough time in the early morning, he also could prepare them on site. Here comes the point that if I have a foreign guest, I won't try to prepare the food which matches the foreigner's culture, but try to prepare Chinese traditionaly food, like which I mentioned above. I believe the various food will somewhat satisfy my guest.

  6. I had eaten boiled egg and a cup of milk for breakfast. Because it costs a lot of time to prepare chinese breakfast, my mother had no time to prepare it that she thought many simple ways to cook breakfast.
For this reason, I think I will go out and buy traditional breakfast for my foreign friend. Ha

  7. Let’s start for the drinks. You cannot have a good breakfast without a very consistent vitaminized juice, called here in Brazil as ‘vitamina’. In Australia, I saw some similar. They named ‘smoothies’. Using a blender, you can mix fruits with milk, orange juice or even water; it depends on kind of fruit you will use. With milk, you can use non-acid fruits such as bananas, apples, papayas, peaches, avocados and so on, and sugar to taste. Oats, granola, or cereals in general do well in this mixture, besides being very healthy. Using orange juice or simple water, you can put acid and non-acid fruits as well, except bananas, at least not for me. In terms of food, we are not used to eat meat on breakfasts, but you can use ham or bologna if you want. Anyway, scrambled eggs are very common here too, mainly in hotels or hostels. But when it comes to breads, we can offer an incredible variety of flavors and nationalities. French bread, Italian bread, Australian bread, or corn bread, cassava bread, egg fruit bread, coconuts bread among others. There are many, many others, very tasty and delicious. With them, we use cheeses such as mozzarella, white cheese, also know here as ‘mineiro’ cheese (typical of southeastern Brazil), or cream cheese, called here as ‘requeijão’. Butter and jelly are very usual as well.

  8. In Brazil, my country, people usually have a simple breakfast with bread plus butter or margarine. However in some regions, people use other stuff, for example fruits of the region or typical food such as couscous, cassava or tapioca.
I think that foreigners d'ont like these last.

  13. In Japan, we have eaten a traditional breakfast for a long long time, however our eating habits are shifting to western style. our typical breakfast would be rice, miso soup and pickles (those are must!) and "Nattou"(some people call it "stinky beans) or grilled fish. This meal is considerably healthy, especially fish, "Nattou" and miso soup. Some people, including myself, love "Nattou" but some people just hate it. You can find it at a Asian supermarket so if you are interested in, give it a try!

  14. I lived for sixteen years in a farm at the norteast of Brazil and there we produced all that we eat. Most meals take corn, like corn cake, couscous, curau of corn, etc. And the milk is used for drinking and preparing delicious cheeses. To complete that we had plenty of fruit could be eaten or used to make juice. Good times.

  15. So, first of all i think that if a friend of mine from USA, for example, came to my house he or she would feel a big difference about the types of food that we eat here in Brasil.
In fact, for breakfast i am used to eat fruits, like papaya or apple, or even fruit salad that my mom prepares for me and my father!
For these reasons, I would introduce my foreing friend to these light foods and i´m sure that he would enjoy it very much!
Overall, here in Brasil we consume for breakfast a lot of light things like fuits or even juice of fresh fruit!

  18. I’m from Peru, and if a foreign friend comes to my house I will invite him for breakfast a “tamalito relleno” that is one of the most traditional dishes of Peruvian cuisine base on corn, wrapped in banana leaf and stuffed with pork or chicken; served with “salsa criolla” and a peace of bread. It's delicious!

And for drink I will invite him the popular “emoliente”. It’s easy to do because you only have to boil water with barley and flax, stain the essence and finally enjoy this healthy hot drink, especially on winter days.

  19. On the whole, I think that breakfast in western countries are more or less similar. Just add traditional bakeries or drinks such as pancakes in the U.S., tea in the U.K. and so on. So, if I invited you to have breakfast in my house, I think it wouldn't differ that much from breakfast in your country -- milk, cereals, fruits, cakes or biscuits, etc. It is important to underline that cultural facts that people tend to associate with breakfast are not always true or accurate but are often a matter of social background. For instance, People frequently take it for granted that breakfast in England is made up of many things to eat and drink --such as eggs, cereals, tea, milk, biscuits, etc. But people tend to forget that this is what the television portrays in TV series and in soap operas. The reality is often harsher if you go and see the breakfast that people have in their everyday lives.

  24. Hello,
I'm from Brazil and usually I don't take a breakfast. I think it's a terrible behaviour, but when I wake up, I'm not very hungry. Nowadays, I'm trying to change my food habits. I can say here, that a tipical Brazilian brakfast includes cofee and milk, brad and butter.

  26. I live in Turkiye. As Turkish people, we have a variety of breakfast tradition as well as other meals. First of all, we adore black tea. For instance, when breakfast is ready, we say 'tea is boiling'. Also we have a special food called 'menemen'. It is made from tomatoes, pepper and eggs. In addition, we have 'sucuk' and 'pastırma'. We eat them with eggs. We cook them together and call it 'sahanda yumurta'. We have many kinds of cheese. Some of them are 'orgu peynir', 'tulum peyniri', 'cokelek' etc. Turkiye has 7 regions. I can say that in these 7 regions we have plenty of breakfast habits. For example, in East Anatolian Region, people start day by having a bowl of soup. Especially soup of 'beyran ' is the most delicious one. I want to write all of them, all breakfast colours of my country but I don't want to make you bored. Thank you.

  27. Penang is full of delicious and famous food. I will take my foreign friend to taste must-eat food when he/she comes to Penang. As you all know, Malaysia has three main ethnic groups which are India, Malay and Chinese. So, there are different kinds of food based on their own culture. For me, i will introduce my foreign friend to eat nasi lemak, roti canai, roti bakar (toast)and Chinese food such as Kari Mee, Laksa, bihun mee.

  30. In Vietnam, there are many types of food you can eat breakfast. You can buy it everywhere you live because there are many people who sell it. A breakfast of about 1 dollar, it's very cheap and serves quickly. I recommend trying bread. The bread is cheap (about $ 0.75) and very tasty

  31. Mongolian breakfast is very simple. Because of the Soviet Regime it has some Russian influences. Such as hot cereal and rice milk. But most people prefer regular lunch or brunch instead of a breakfast. I prefer American or British breakfast. Which is fried egg, bacon or toast and cereal etc. I try to eat some fruit as well. My kids eat whatever available that morning ha ha. Some like egg and some does not. But every one likes yogurt though. I agree that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
