Many cultures around the world celebrate Valentine's Day in one form or another. How do people celebrate in your country? Do men and women exchange gifts on this day? Do people participate in any special activities? Please share your ideas.

The Brazilian version of Valentine's Day is celebrated on June 12th. It's said that it's because of the proximity of June 13th - Saint Anthony's Day. Saint Anthony is the patron Saint of weddings. Men and women usually exchange gifts and go on dates. They usually have a romantic evening like going to the movies or to a fancy restaurant. Well, I think it's a good day for business people to boost their sales.
I stay alone from morning to night in Valentineh's Day....
But many of my friends spent the romantic day with their BF/GF~~
Maybe they exchange gifts or watch movie or ... HAHA,I don't know~

i was so sad on the valentine'day.i was stuck in my uncle's house.i just could call to her and talk something.i know that she want a romantic day on valentine's day.but i could give it to her.

All the people who love each other They give gifts to the person that they love in their life. Mostly boyfriends and girlfriends give the other one a BIG gift.But friends give gift to friends too.Its a very cool day!

In my country (Iran) Valentine's is a big thing, people who are ingajed give each other flowers and they go to a romantic place like the beach or go watch the sunset or they go to the movies.

i think valentines day isn`t very important to celebrate.
why ?.
because we could give a gift to someone who sepcial for us everytime, and my religion doesn`t allowed us to celebrate it.

I think,this day is forcing of consumptive world.The Valentine's Days versions of products are too expensive.In my country couples give gifts each other and/or go to a restaurant for a romantic night.A lot of parties are organized for lonely people in Valentine's Day. :)
