Gardening: A relaxing hobby that doesn't involve video games

People often don't think of gardening as a fun hobby, especially when such an activity competes with video games, movies, and shopping. However, my wife and I have found that growing things, particuarly delicious fruit in unusual ways, can be a relaxing and rewarding experience. In the picture below, you can see how we grow our melons ---- hanging from the vine. This method saves a lot of space and the fruit are easier to manage and pick. You can see more of our garden in video and pictures at:

Hello Randall

This plant on the picture on the web looks like a muskmelon.I have ever thought that a muskmelon is a yearly plant that rises on the ground.A muskmelon's fruit rises on the bine. This is amaging. It is like a grape.
Thank you for an interesting picture and essay.

sincerely

Hi,Randall

I think gardening is indeed so fun!I grew some orange and cherry before.(Although the fruit I grew were not taste good actually.)I can really relax myself by gardening.I also like to grow flowers, too.Especially those flowers which have colorful colors.Everytime I see those flowers I grew by myself, I felt so proud and happy.
