Favorite ESL Resouces: Books and Electronics

Teachers and students often ask me the books and other electronics that can be used for language learning and teaching. As a result, I've created a page to provides some of my recommendations. This list is by no means exclusive; there are hundreds and hundreds of great resources out there that might help you, depending on your needs:

  1. After I've started to go to video chat rooms on www.paltalk.com I've given my English a boost. There we've found lots of excellent rooms where people from all over the world meet to practice their English. These rooms are usually moderated/administrated by a native speaker of English who devotes a few hours to the teaching of the language. Volunteers take turns moderating the rooms. They give us listening, speaking, reading and writing exercises as well as vocabulary games and quizzes on general knowledge. Those who are regulars of the rooms are learners of different proficiency levels. However, they seem to learn a lot from each other.

  2. I would like to travel to La Paz Bolivia , because it has a wonderful folklore.
I have family there so, I have a place to stay at. The first thing that I’d visit there would be Santa Cruz , this place is 7 hours away from Bolivia. Santa Cruz is very beautiful and there are many tourist places. If I didn’t have a place to stay with my family I’d stay in a hotel with a swimming pool and a gym . Then, I’d visit “La Casa del Camba Restaurant”, which is a nice and tourist place and its food is delicious. Then I’d go to Aqualand, which is a center for fun with water’s slide and swimming pool and artificial waves . Then, I’d go to Copacabana, which is a city located 12 hours away from Santa Cruz . Here you can see the Titicaca Lake which is the highest lake in South America
