Katcina Mosa 100K Mountain Run 2012
When people think of physical challenges, they often think about a marathon (26.2 miles or 42.2 kilometers). Yes, it can be demanding on the body; however, there are other longer and more taxing events such as an ultramarathon that will take your body to the limits.
I recently participating in one such event, and although I'm not fast, it was satisfying just to complete it. Along the way, you certainly learn a lot about yourself.
This video is amazing! I am a student of english, runner, swimmer, and got motivated to keep studying english. Thanks you very much and I hope you keep going too.
(: Awesome! I want to congratulate you for being that brave and strong... I know that physical challenges require lots of mental strength and control. I have never though if I was able to complete a challenge like this one, and now I´m sure I want to prove to myself that I am capable of doing something like this. Thanks from Mexico.
Is very interesting what you can do if you are convenced about your habilities, if you hace confidence in yourself you can do everything you want. With this video i think that im going to fite for my "dreams" and do the things that the people say that i can´t :) great!!
First, I would like to thank you for creating and maintaining such a wonderful blog. It’s my favourite blog because you put your heart in it, create and share valuable teaching/learning resources, and inspire lots of ESL students and educators. I watched your video and admired you and your wife, Shirley, for having such a strong will and dedication. I wonder what motivates you, so you can push yourself to the limits? Neli
The things that motivate me most are (1) the challenge of doing something that tests both my physical and mental abilities and (2) the realization that my challenges are not as hard as those that people have to deal with every day (e.g., hunger, homelessness) and (3) the support and love of family.
Great, I also run and swim sometimes, and this video motivated me to keep studying english! I hope you keep going too!
