However, some teachers think that for being in the teaching field for years, they don't need to take refresh courses or keep up with current issues regarding language teaching. This is indeed a big mistake. To sum it up, it doesn't really matter how long a teacher has been in the teaching field if s/he doesn't keep up with current events.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1640976037544204748.post-59088755736646371912008-03-19T08:22:00.000-06:002008-03-19T08:22:00.000-06:00Dear Randall,I would say that a teacher with expe...Dear Randall,

I would say that a teacher with experience no matter How old are they. He/she might be better than instructor who lacking experinece. The reason is that the teacher with experience has learned from a lot of mistakes which he/she made and has modified his/her teaching techniques for a while. Although a new staff who owns his/her passion and expertise, he/she doesn't know how to deal with the sticky situiations in classroom. For example, when one student asks what's history of America. The teacher would answer that " Oh, it is a good question and it's really hard. Actually, I didn't know about yet. Sometimes, students would be upset to meet the young teachers. However, the exciting things would be that the new instructors are more creative and more energetic. So, it depends on what kind of teachers who students met in classroom. It's also good luck for every students.

Best,

Jenny HsiehAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
